What perfect weather for a sail from St Mawes harbour to the Helford. I had never been to St Mawes before and what a dear little harbour it is.
It was a surprise birthday trip for my friend, who had no idea that I had arranged the trip with his son and grandson on their yacht, Evie May.
So, sparkling lime drinks were the order of the day. Followed by lunch on the Helford River.
I was invited to stay on the yacht the following Wednesday night and what a beautiful evening it was.

The morning was beautiful and brought back so many memories of my sailing days 32 years ago.
