Where did July go? 1st August already and another turn in the Wheel of the Year.
Lansallos beach took longer than I anticipated, so if you intend to visit, you need to be prepared to experience roughly a 2 mile round trip. However the walk is well worth it, as Lansallos beach is nestled in a beautiful, secluded cove.
We parked the car in the National Trust car park and walked down the road to the church. 
At the church, take the lane that runs alongside the church and then along the track to the left.
At a little bridge you have the choice to go straight on, or right over the bridge and through a field. We chose, the bridge and the field option.
When you access the field, the sea then comes into view.
And then the secluded cove
Some of the rocks have stunning colours
And there is also a beautiful waterfall.
Back at the church, in the churchyard are some interesting grave stones and those winged carvings again, like at St Winnow.
If you fancy a walk, then this beach is well worth the effort.
