What a busy summer it has been for me which is why time hasn’t permitted me to publish a blog. Visits to Maastricht, France, Croatia and then France again, amongst other things have left me with little time to keep in touch.
So it was most welcome to spend some time invigorating myself amongst the sacred sites in beautiful West Penwith, Cornwall and especially at New Moon. The weather was not kind to me on this walk. Even though I put a head warmer on and waterproof jacket I still got soaked and cold with the downpours of rain.
Following on from my blog regarding Men an Tol, I thought I would continue along the Tinners Way leaving Men an Tol to my right. If you continue along this track (which is wide enough for a tractor and you may meet one!) you will eventually see the beautiful standing stone, Men Scryfa, which is set in a farmers field to your left. Referring to the book, Dance of the Dragon by Hamish Miller and Paul Broadhurst, they tracked the Apollo line, which runs straight through the two peaks of Carn Galver and Men Scryfa. The Apollo line then continues from Men Scryfa through to Men an Tol.

There is no signpost to this standing stone and you will need to climb over a stone stile to enter the field.

This shot was taken with my back to the standing stone looking back at Carn Galver.
The energy of Men Scryfa was powerful for me, especially while I was doing my distance reiki healing, coinciding with the New Moon.
This pilgrimage was special for me, knowing that the Apollo line was connecting with the vortex at my land and lake in France.
Blessings
