A walk to Golitho Falls in Cornwall, has been on my bucket list for some time, and yesterday was perfect timing. After weeks and weeks of rain, the wind dropped and the sun came out. It made your heart sing to hear the birds singing in the woodland.
The place is truly magical and I would recommend a visit, if you are in the area. Nestling in the Draynes valley, the River Fowey flows through the Falls, on its way down to Lostwithiel, Golant and then out to sea at Fowey.
If you look carefully, you can even find fairy portals.
I bumped into a grandmother taking her grand daughter for a walk. The little girl was about 3 and got so excited when I told her where to look for the portals. Keep fairies real I say.
